New Amazon AI initiative includes scholarships, free AI courses

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched a series of free AI skills training courses for developers and data scientists. Through this program, individuals can learn how to build, deploy, and scale machine learning models using AWS services. The courses are available for all skill levels, from novice to advanced.

The introductory course covers the basics of AI, including an introduction to the fundamentals of machine learning and neural networks. Learners will also get the opportunity to experiment with real-world machine learning applications, such as image recognition and natural language processing. Other topics covered in the course include model development, deployment, debugging, and monitoring.

The intermediate course focuses on more advanced concepts related to AI, such as distributed computing and data storage. Students will learn about building distributed applications on the AWS platform, and they will also get to practice deploying scalable, secure, and resilient machine learning models. Additionally, students will learn how to use Amazon SageMaker to build, train, and deploy predictive models.

Finally, the advanced course dives into the most complex aspects of AI, such as model optimization and automation. It also provides hands-on experience with distributed training, model selection, hyperparameter optimization, and model deployment. This comprehensive course is designed for experienced developers looking to master modern machine learning techniques.

Overall, these three new courses provide learners with the opportunity to sharpen their skills and gain valuable experience with AI and machine learning. With these courses, Amazon hopes to foster the growth of AI talent, helping cultivate a thriving community of professionals dedicated to creating powerful solutions that drive innovation and progress.
