Paris-based startup Nabla raised $24M for its AI assistant for doctors

Nabla, a healthtech startup based in San Francisco, has raised another $24 million to further develop its AI-powered assistant for doctors. Founded in 2020, the company is focused on improving clinical decision-making by using natural language understanding and machine learning. Its AI-powered assistant utilizes data from electronic health records, patient medical history, and other sources to provide doctors with real-time recommendations on treatment options. The new funding round was led by Pegasus Tech Ventures, with participation from previous investors including General Catalyst and Khosla Ventures.

With this latest injection of capital, Nabla plans to expand its platform to serve more hospitals, clinics, and healthcare systems across the United States. Additionally, the company will use the funds to continue developing its AI-powered assistant for physicians. This includes updating its existing functionality for managing complex medical cases, as well as adding new features such as natural language processing and contextual awareness. The company also intends to expand its team and build out its partnerships with major healthcare organizations.

The AI-powered assistant offered by Nabla is designed to help doctors make better clinical decisions faster and more efficiently by providing them with personalized guidance based on their patient’s medical history. Through its platform, doctors can access comprehensive patient records, view test results, and process orders quickly. By doing so, Nabla’s technology helps physicians save time while ensuring they stay up-to-date on the latest best practices in the medical field.

In addition to its AI-powered assistant, Nabla offers a suite of additional services that are aimed at helping healthcare providers improve patient care. These services include an online portal for patients to book appointments and manage their health information, as well as a secure messaging platform for doctors and their teams to communicate.

The company’s latest funding round brings Nabla’s total amount raised to date to almost $50 million. With this new investment, Nabla will be able to continue its mission to revolutionize healthcare by utilizing the power of artificial intelligence.
