Royal Institution Christmas Lecture: The Truth about AI

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been a topic of much debate in the past few years. The popular notion is that AI could potentially be used to replace humans, but this is far from the truth. AI is more accurately described as a tool or assistant to help humans accomplish tasks more efficiently.

In December 2018, the Royal Institution hosted its prestigious Christmas lecture series. This year's lecture focused on the Truth About AI and was given by Professor Andrea Tacchi from UCL's Department of Computer Science.
